Training and Review
We have created a training program internally in the company so that each barista is set a standard to meet and performance is regularly reviewed to ensure our quality never falters.
A double shot 14 grams of freshly ground coffee with a pour of 25 seconds, we believe, creates the perfect espresso. With our on-demand grinders and constant review we make sure that our espressos are consistent to this formula.
The Cimbali on demand wireless grinder that we have introduced at all locations means that every cup of coffee comes from the bean within seconds. It produces the freshest espresso and results in better in-the-cup aroma,
as the whole beans are ground on demand into the filter handle when you order your coffee.
The flexibility we can achieve with our advanced technology means that we can make your coffee exactly how you like it, whether it be weaker or stronger than our usual formula, we can adapt to suit you.
Our Grand Milano espresso bean blend is 95% Arabica and 5% Robusta bean, to ensure a medium to rich body and a rich flavour. The Arabica bean is the finest quality bean in coffee blends and Grand Milano is precision roasted for a sweet, rich and rounded coffee.
The Portioli aroma blend we also use is also 95% Arabica and 5% Robusta creating a premium quality blend enjoyed by many.
